Media Account Manager

A Media Account Manager is urgently required by a successful City Media Agency to meet the high expectations of the client through excellence in planning and competitive media buying.

The role is Client-Facing, enabling you to utilise your excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional business relationships at all levels. Your understanding of the client’s brief and end goals will ensure that schedules are met accurately, on time and to budget.

Your negotiating skills will be the key to your success in establishing and maintaining competitive buying. You will have a full and up to the minute understanding of current research tools related to all core media choices. You understand that planning the mix is what it’s all about. You will possess first-rate writing and presentation skills demonstrating marketing objectives with creativity through clever planning.

Reporting to the Group Account Manager and Senior Account Manager your responsibilities will include:

Informing clients of current media updates as needed.
Booking advertisements and researching any issues that will affect the client prior to your speaking to them.
Confirming advertisements have appeared as booked.
Ensuring paperwork is maintained to company standards.
Ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing forecasts, figures and performance details to Senior Management.
Attendance and participation in meetings.
Supporting staff and coaching Account Executives & Media Assistants to help them achieve the required standards.

You will also be required to organise workloads, in conjunction with Group Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Other Account Managers, Media Planners/Buyers and Media Assistants.

Additional skill requirements:

Competent understanding of the Adserve system is required along with familiarity of cost per 1000 analysis.
Competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
