Chelmsford Chess Club
Chelmsford Chess Club is an established and sucessful chess club with over 30 full-time members, whose standards range from beginner through to county level. Affiliated to the British Chess Federation, the club competes in the North Essex Chess League (NECL) where, this year, it's highly successful 'A' team were crowned League Champions for the 3rd successive season. In all, the club fields 4 teams in the league, providing all members with the opportunity to experience competitive chess. It also hosts an annual Club Championship as well as a time-handicapped 'Summer Tournament'.

Riverside Ice Dance Club is based at the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre in Chelmsford and meet on Tuesday evenings 6.45 - 8 p.m. New members and visiting skaters are welcomed.

Chelmsford Riverside Ice Skating Club
Affiliated to NISA (National Ice Skating Association of UK) based at the Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre in Chelmsford. Our skaters meet at "Club Nights" each Friday where they get an hour of on-ice activity with 2 Professionals organising games, discos, stroking etc.

Futuristics Baton Twirlers
Open to girls and boys aged from 2 1/2 years to have FUN and make new friends and learn how to twirl a baton, use pom poms, have the chance to take part in competitions, carnivals and displays.
We meet Thursdays with different sessions based on age: Tiny Tots 'A' group - 2 1/2 years - 3 1/2 years - 4-4.30pm
Tiny Tots 'B' group - 3 1/2 years - 5 years - 4.30-5pm
Juvenile Beginners - 6-9 years - 5-6pm
Junior Beginners - 10-12 years - 5-7pm
Seniors - 13+ years - 5-7pm
