Bring Back Chainmail & Boom Busters, 20th February 2019 to 21st February 2019, 20:00 to 22:00 at Headgate Theatre Colchester, Chapel Street North, Colchester (18 miles)
An evening of two brand new pieces of theatre. Bring Back Chainmail. A piece of devised theatre featuring live combat, music, home-made costumes, and gingerbread knights. Chivalry isn't dead.. as far as self appointed Squire Tom is concerned. Medieval Knights can still exist, and why shouldn't they? After all, he's obsessed with becoming one. Join his quest, as he attempts to restore the principles of knighthood to a world that needs to change. Huzzah!

Boomer Busters is a new one act play presented by Colchester Theatre Group in association with Headgate Theatre Productions. These performances are in preparation for an event at The Cut, Halesworth, on 24th February 2019, were this production will be performed alongside other groups. This special weekend will be a joint celebration of local amateur talent and INK. The group deemed to have produced the best play, will be scheduled to perform it at The INK Festival 2019 - alongside the plays performed by professional actors - and have the support of one of INK's professional directors.
