Seeking Motor mechanics with Chelmsford Borough Council

I am making enquries for a lady who has contracted mesothelioma an asbestos disease. Her husband was a motor mechanic with Chelmsford Borough Council from 1973 to 1978.
I am trying to find mechanics who recall grinding/rivetting asbestos brake linings and wearing their work clothes home.
